About

I'm a padel player who tests rackets and overgrips in real matches and training sessions before writing about them. Every piece of gear reviewed on padel.how is purchased at retail price. There are no sponsorships, no affiliate arrangements that influence scores, and no free samples accepted.

How reviews work

Each racket is tested over multiple sessions — club matches, structured drills and informal hitting — before a score is assigned. The 100-point scoring system covers ten categories: maneuverability, net performance, control, defensive output, off-center stability, sweet spot usability, spin, power ceiling, power accessibility and comfort. Scores reflect how the racket performs relative to the full range of padel rackets, not just the premium segment.

Overgrip reviews include physical measurements (length, weight before and after installation) and a standardized moisture absorption test alongside on-court play.

The full methodology for both is published openly: racket methodologyovergrip methodology.
